Realtors: request a Disclosure Packet
The Pineland Park POA is responsible for enforcing provisions of the covenants and regulations of the POA. The state-mandated Disclosure Packet requires the POA to make statements concerning covenants and regulations; that any improvements or alterations made to the lot are or are not in violation of any of the instruments referred to in the disclosure (i.e., restrictive covenants, rules, and architectural regulations).
The POA Board of Directors therefore has the responsibility to inspect all properties prior to issuing a Disclosure Packet, and note all violations in the Disclosure Packet to buyers.
Once a contract has been made on a home, the owners realtor should request a Disclosure Packet from PPPOA. After receiving the request, a walking inspection of the property will be made prior to issuance of the Disclosure Packet to the realtor. All fees ($75) for the Disclosure Packet will need to be paid for at closing.
